Meet Mr. Frosty, the official Vitalogy mascot
There are lots of health, diet, and exercise programs on the internet. So who needs another one, right? I guess I did because I’ve really enjoyed the Vitalogy program and unlike everything else I’ve tried, it’s made a huge difference in my life. If you check out the Vitalogy Fun Diet and Exercise Web Site, you’ll see me all over it and that’s because I totally endorse the product and am directly involved with promoting it on the internet.
So why do I like it? If you look around it doesn’t take long to see that most programs for getting more fit, eating more healthy, and losing weight are really created with an assumption that you’re already pretty fit to begin with. I remember one video where the “easy” version of the exercises were way too strenuous. That’s why I call Vitalogy Healthy Eating, Weight Loss, and Fitness for the Rest of Us. And that’s exactly what it is. Let’s face it, if you spend much time on the internet you have a bit of a geek in you, and Vitalogy is really health for geeks. It adapts to any age, weight, and level of fitness.
The thing I really like about it is that it doesn’t require big chunks of time to really accomplish a lot. No driving to the gym and back and spending 30 minutes to an hour “working out”. Instead, it’s just a minute here and there — like while you’re waiting for a file to download or during a commercial on TV — just small amounts of time add up quickly… and as you begin to feel more fit you naturally want to do more.
And the meals I’ve learned to prepare are terrific.
Best of all, even though all this is serious stuff, Vitalogy is also about having some fun as the video above shows. And be honest, isn’t it much easier to do fun than it is to do work. I think so!
If you have muscle or joint pain, stiff muscles, want better muscle tone, want to drop a few pounds, or whatever I highly suggest you give the Vitalogy lifestyle a try. And if you’re a registered Enjoy A Better World Newsletter member you can do it for free starting today.
Well, I’ve been talking about it for quite a while. It’s been a big focus for me for some time. I’ve even contributed efforts to making it happen. Yes, the 7 Day Vitalogy Program is finally launching. Check it out. Click on the right.
It’s just a pure simple fact that for a lot of people just getting a little exercise, improving their range of motion, improving their posture, and dropping a few pounds will mean a huge difference in their overall quality of life. I’m talking about all of us who sit for hours and hours each day staring at a computer or with a phone glued to our ear. Let’s face it, if you’re 30 pounds overweight and hunch over a desk to see the computer screen at the weird laptop angle while sipping on a cola then you can stand to make some life changes. The funny thing is how easy it is to get to that point and how easy it is to tell yourself that you’ve always been doing that and it’s perfectly normal. Well, if you’re happy with not being able to move around much without something hurting then don’t do a thing… but if just maybe you would like to change your quality of life a little, then you go out on the hunt for the way to “drop some weight” and “get fit”. So, naturally, you want to find the “best” programs to do that.
The trouble is that when you start looking, boom! you’re immediately overwhelmed. Everybody’s got the latest and greatest way to drop pounds. Low fat… low carb… acai berries… super duper fat burning pills or liquids. It’s the same for exercise. Go to the gym… stay home… get the super workout gym… do yoga… do pilates. Arugh! Now let me tell you a little secret… well actually a pretty big one. The diet and exercise industry makes its money from their products and programs not working. This is right up there with the medical profession making their real money by keeping you sick, not well. Think about it. People spend billions of dollars trying to lose weight and get fit. They spend money trying one program… then trying another… then trying another — got the picture.
Right now I’m spending $29 a month on a gym that I rarely go to because I have had a pretty darn hectic schedule for about 5 months. That brings us to the topic at hand. The best weight loss and fitness programs are the ones that you can sustain. Think about that too. You really don’t want to yoyo diet and exercise on again and off again for the rest of your life, do you? If you just apply that one little test to any diet or exercise program you contemplate, you will immediately separate the wheat from the chaff. The acai berries are for the berries because you don’t want to have to drink that horrible tasting stuff for the rest of your life. The diet pills are useless because you don’t want to have to take them for the rest of your life do you? Even the gym doesn’t make much sense because most people really don’t want to spend time lifting weights and running or walking on a treadmill… And the critical thing you’ve got to get is that if you are 20 or 30 pounds overweight, and if you have aches and pains all the time, and if you look like your always leaning over instead of standing up straight and tall… then you’ve got serious habitual problems that you’ve got to overcome for the rest of your life. A few pills or swallows of magic juice just isn’t going to do it because even if they work in the short term, you’ll just go back to your old habits when you stop the “diet” or “exercise program”… then, guess what, you go back to where you were.
What you really need is something that will empower you to change your life. And that means
- It’s got to be something you can do now and that you can keep doing in the future.
- It’s got to be something that you can easily fit into your normal schedule. In fact, it’s really got to make your routine easier and not more complicated.
- It’s got to be something that you can readily see real progress without having to keep all kinds of charts and diary entries.
- It’s got to increase your fun and joy in life.
