Danger! Cell Phone Radiation Area
Whoa! Take a second… this second and recall where your cell phone, Blackberry, or PDA is at this moment… what about during most of the day. Now, here is what I want you to get… Electromagnetic fields (EMF) are the subject of intense controversy in the USA, but there is mounting research overseas about the dangers of wireless communications. In fact, recent Austrailian research indicates that 2 billion people may suffer from cell phone cancer by 2020! Check out the article.
Cell phones are one of the sources of the highest amount of EMF. Do you carry yours around with you everywhere? Probably! The research indicates that they seem to pump radiation towards the closest part of the body to them. So, when you use a Bluetooth earpiece or hold the phone to your ear your are irradiating your brain. When you put the cell phone in your pocket you’re zapping your reproductive system. Don’t expect to get any warning or action from the industry because, frankly, there’s way too much money involved.
What can you do for EMF protection…
Well, your choices are actually pretty simple…
- Don’t use a cell phone or other wireless device. This may include things like iPods and MP3 players.
- If you use a cell phone, turn it off whenever possible or carry it in a purse or briefcase. The radiation falls off as the square of the distance it is away from you.
- When you talk on a cell phone use a wired earpiece (do not use Bluetooth) or the speakerphone.
- Use some type of protective device.
The last alternative is interesting and there are a number of EMF protection devices on the market. Do they work? Few have solid research behind them. Check out the following article on Holographic Counterbalance Protection Against Potentially Deadly Effects of Wireless Communications. This link will take you directly to the article and, if you like, you can order the protection discs. I use them personally and I recommend them based on the quality of other products from the company. I have done some kinesiology testing on the Protect Discs and they do seem to have a good effect. I have not personally done any type of testing with a device like an EMF meter.
In any case, be aware that those cool little electronic gizmos you carry around with you may not be as benign as they appear.
