Jesse Ventura, ex Navy Seal, ex pro-wrestler, ex Governor has a thought provoking TV show called Conspiracy Theory. I watched the episode about global warming and climate change, and, sure enough, it provoked some thoughts.
The gist of the episode was that global warming was polluted by big big money. That the data was cooked because some people including Al Gore stand to make billions from the development of green technology. In addition, the intention of the real shakers and movers behind the global warming movement like the infamous Rothchild banking interests is to scare the people of the world enough so that people and governments are willing to give up their rights to one world government. Pretty scary conspiracy theory stuff, eh?
On the other side of this debate are the scientists who show us pictures of glacial ice falling off in Antarctica and tell us that the Oil Companies, other energy producers, and large energy consumers are really the ones with money interests at heart and are trying to scare us with stories of the ulterior motives of the scientific community… and they whip out stolen emails out of context to prove their point.
Now the question is, “How do you know who to believe?” Think about it. How do you know who is telling the truth to you? The answer is, “You don’t!” In the end, you believe whoever appeals to your emotions most effectively. The rational brain does just that… it rationalizes to support your emotions.
There is a great book by Naomi Klein called Shock Doctrine. This is recommended reading. In a nutshell she makes a case for the idea that the people who run this planet use an rather devious tactic to accumulate wealth and power. Essentially they take advantage of and/or create situations that scare the heck out of you. In that moment of extreme fear you are willing to give up your rights and your money to be “safe”. So let’s apply that to global warming. On the one side you’ve got to be afraid that the earth is becoming inhabitable and give up your rights, freedoms, and cash to the people who are going to tell you how to live to save the planet. On the other side you’ve got to be afraid of the global warming conspiracy and the people who are trying to take over the planet so that the people who already control the planet can maintain their power.
Do you doubt the reality of the Shock Doctrine? Consider the recent banking crisis. The United States economy was about to collapse so we had to give billions of our dollars to the banks so that they could speculate with them without any risk. Sill unconvinced? What about the post September 11 hysteria that resulted in The Patriot Act, where many of the basic rights of United States citizens were taken away including habeas corpus. How about the Vietname war? Now we know that the Gulf of Tokin incident that precipitated the war was fabricated to convince USA citizens to go to war… and of course, that reminds us of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction. Got the picture?
Let me tell you a dirty little secret. In the Middle Ages knights and their vassals would go to war supposedly to protect the interests of the vassals. Their farming land needed to be protected from the invading armies {sound familiar?} … but {the game was rigged. The knights themselves were usually not killed by other knights. Instead they were captured and held for ransom. And today, the game continues to be rigged. The wealthiest people in the world are going to win no matter which side comes out on top. So, if the global warming community wins, the Rothchilds win… and if the energy producers and consumers win, the Rothchilds win.
As long as you play on the gamboard created by the bankers, insurance companies, politicians, and other power brokers you simply won’t win. The game is designed so that, like Las Vegas, the house gives you the illusion that you might win, but in the long term the house really rakes in the cash.
I seem to recall something about giving unto Caesar what is Caesar’s. By realizing the truth of who you really are you will know how to live.
Those of you who watched the David Wilcock video in the last post might have been intrigued by the idea that in the black ops project called Looking Glass (no, not the Sun Microsystems computer display project) it was proven that consciousness could alter time. For those who didn’t view the video, isn’t that statement enough to peak your curiosity?
Let’s carry that one step further. If, as David suggests the people who are really running the show on this planet are aware of the research at Looking Glass, then isn’t it curious that so much negative media is surfacing about the end of the world in 2012? Why is the mass consciousness being polluted with this kind of doomsday imagery?
To make the world better, each of us must lift our consciousness to move the planet in the direction of positive possibilities that can come out of the upcoming December 21, 2012 crisis point.
There’s another interesting idea from David’s video that is critical. That is that you must realize the true nature of your self. Unlike Christianity, Buddhists believe humans are born perfect and are corrupted by the Three Poison Minds of Anger, Greed, and Ignorance. In this sense ignorance is really ignorance of the true nature of ourselves as spiritual beings. As Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe said, “As soon as you trust yourself you will know how to live.” And I would add to that “As soon as you know your true nature you will trust yourself.”
Have you seen the movie 2012? Pretty spectacular special effects, but really kind of a dud.
Contrary to popular notions 2012 doesn’t mark the end of the world on the Mayan calendar. It is more accurate to think of it as the end of an era. David Wilcock describes it as more of a crisis point (my term). It’s a point at which energies are lined up so that humanity can make a change in direction.
J. Krishnamurti describes the crisis we are facing as a crisis in consciousness in which we can no longer accept the old thinking, patterns, norms, and traditions. Yes, that means that we’ve got to use our brains like we have never used them before and decide if we are going to grow up or remain a species trapped by lower emotions. You know… things like anger, greed, fear, and stupidity.
Do you ever look at world events and ask yourself exactly who put the crazy people in charge? I’m reminded of a movie called The King of Hearts. In it a World War II Scottish soldier goes into a village in France where all the citizens have evacuated except for those in the local insane asylum. The doors to the asylum have been opened and the patients have taken over the main roles in the city like the mayor, the chief of police, and the local judge. Well, I feel like I’m living this movie every time I turn on the television, read the newspaper, or check out one of the political blogs. Think about it. There are people who really think that providing health care for our citizens is a bad thing. There are other people who doubt climate change despite seeing big chucks of glaciers melting throughout the world.
Anger, greed, fear, and stupidity really put blinders on people’s eyes. But here is the thing… you can’t take the blinders off of other people’s eyes, you can only take them off of your own eyes. Work on shifting your own consciousness, not on trying to convince others. If you live the example of your ideas, then you will impact others by the example of your own life. As 2010 approaches, I see a challenge in front of me, you , and everybody else to start changing the way we think about things. More to come later…
