Was watching a TV Show, “The History of The World in Two Hours”. Listened to a statistic that really amazed me. More people have be killed in war since 1900 than in the rest of history preceding it. That’s incredible. Sure, we have a lot more people living now, and it really would be better to see if the percentage of the population killed in war was significantly bigger… my guess would be yes.
What does that say about our perception of ourselves as being the highest point in human civilization. Kind of throws that out the window doesn’t it. It is amazing that humanity lets a relatively small percentage of people who are intent on power and greed to mess things up for the rest of us.
