I just finished watching Mindwalk on the Flix movie channel. This really stimulates thinking… and in my experience that’s pretty unusual for any movie. The setting involves a discussion between three characters – a politician, a poet, and a physicist. As you can imagine, they come up with some pretty intersting stuff. The politician is a pragmatist and thinks in terms of mechanical determinism. The physicist is an atomic physicist and thinks in terms of interconnected patterns of probability. She calls it systems thinking. The poet, on the other hand, says that both mechanical views of the world and systems thinking put limits on life, which should be experienced to the maximum. The movie raises some interesting questions. For example, the body is constantly rebuilding itself. In fact, the pancreas replaces all its cells in about 24 hours according to the movie. So the question is, what prevents the pancreas for renewing and repairing itself every 24 hours. Why does pancreatic cancer get worse. The answer, according to the physicicist is that the patterns of organization involved with the pancreas are what determines how the cells reproduce themselves. So, my question is what determines these patterns? Think about it. Is it the DNA? If so, what causes the DNA to change? Personally, I think this is a great example of distortions to the energetic blueprint caused by traumatic physical, emotional, and/or mental events. Hmmm… pretty interesting stuff. Anyway, I encourage you to check out this movie when you can. It’s pretty pricy on Amazon, so get it on Flix if you can.
