Simple Steps To Better Health, Better Nutrition, and Better Wellbeing

The Simple Steps Series

There are some simple, important things that you can do to significantly increase your overall wellbeing. With the proper methodology they are easy to implement. This posting begins a series called Simple Steps, and while entire books have been written on each of the topics that are covered in the series, that certainly won't be done in these posts. When you are writing an entire book there is a tendency to put in information that just takes up space and really clouds over the simple to understand, concrete actions that you can take to feel better in a short time… and each book on a subject has its own particular point of view to differentiate it from all the other books. It's easy to get lost in the trees and miss the forest that's the primary message.

The mind really is devilishly clever in its ability to find reasons to not change life long habits. So, when one author says "do this" and another author says "do that" the mind revels in the debate and decides that the best thing to do is keep doing what it's used to… and that doesn't change anything. The main accomplishment is to overcome the force of habitual patterns of behavior. So, the topics in this series are presented without volumes of discussion so that you can grasp their essential simplicity. There is wide agreement in the alternative health arena that each of the steps is a positive step to take. So, you can easily decide which steps you will choose to take… and it's totally your choice.

The two things you need to take a positive step are information that will sufficiently motivate you to change and concrete positive actions that you can take to make the change. You'll get both in each post without overkill… and don't feel like you have to be in a hurry. There is an ancient Chinese proverb that says,

In hurrying there are no sure steps.

Implement positive actions one step at a time. You have had your entire life to bring you to this moment, so taking months to make changes is quite reasonable. Patience wins!

Improving To Organic Foods

The first step in your quest is to locate a good source where you can purchase organic foods. In selecting this source, the main consideration you should have is to find a store where it's difficult to purchase something that isn't organic. Don't hesitate to speak to the sotre manage to find out what percentage of their produce is organic, if their meats are free range and chemical free, and if their other products are natural and organic. It's getting easier and easier to find organic foods, even in the large grocery chains… but you will have to look around. Two popular chains that feature a lot of organic and natural products are The Whole Foods Market and The Fresh Market. The Fresh Market is located on the east coast of the United States… but you can find organic food markets in your area by using Google and searching for Organic Food xxxxxxx where you put your city in place of xxxxxxx… for example Organic Food Denver. This works for cities around the world. A hint… it's also a great way to find out where you can eat organic in cities that you are just visiting.

So, go exploring to the local organic food market.
